With Delhi winters achieving its crescendo, and the pollution crossing insane levels, its a good idea to go for an evening stroll through Lodhi Garden. In case you haven’t visited it in the evening, it’s different world altogether.
The warm yellow glow of the lights on the magnificent monuments, the crescent moon in the clear sky created an atmosphere that transported us back to the 16th century. A sense of solitude engulfed us as we wandered through the park, which was thankfully devoid of over-zealous runners and lovers.
We’ve tried to capture the mystical imagery the best we could with a phone camera. But we highly recommend experiencing all this for yourself.

The park shuts at 8 pm, so it’s a good idea to get there by 7 pm in the winter.
