‘Public Affairs’, located at Middle Lane Khan Market is a perfect place for a meal if you’re looking for both exquisite and casual dining.  Inspired by the prohibition era, the restaurant comes under the same management of Town Hall with minimalistic, eccentric artworks and an impressively large terrace.

It offers an extensive menu with flavoursome dishes from all over the world. You can order from an exclusive range of starters, main courses, sheesha and cocktails.

We ordered duo slider which had 2 burgers, one with lamb, and the other with a chicken patty with melted cheese and caramelised onion toppings and fries accompanied with jalapeno paste- a complete thumbs up!

For the main course, we ordered New York Chelo Kabab with fried eggs on saffron pilaf and mint yoghurt stacked in layers which interestingly came in inside a big metal kettle.  Although as exotic as it sounds, it was not up to the mark. The taste of kebab didn’t go well with the rice and the mint as kebab became bit soggy and cold.

We also ordered Deconstructed Lemon and Meringue Tart which was definitely a show stopper.

We were amazed to see the sheesha being so reasonable so we ordered 2 flavours!  As for the drinks, we had Tenzin’s signature with Balsamic which was sweet and very refreshing.

When it comes management, the staff was very courteous, welcoming and efficient. They were willing to go to lengths to make our dining experience memorable.

Ergo, ‘Public Affairs’ is definitely an exorbitant place. If you love experimenting and looking for a get away from the usual dining experience, you must visit this restaurant and have a chilled out scene with your family and friends.

Address: 67-68, Khan Market, New Delhi | Cost for two: INR 2100
